Start Training
Book a $150 discovery flight, get hands-on time at the controls, and meet the Pilot Rise team before choosing your instructor and training path.
Before You Train
No matter where you train, you should verify that the person teaching you is properly authorized by the FAA to do so. An airline title, impressive resume, or check airman role does not automatically mean someone can legally provide civilian flight instruction.
We've seen students come to us after training with an airline captain, including a check airman at that airline, only to find out those hours were completely invalid because that person was not a certificated flight instructor or was not authorized by the FAA to teach outside of the airline they worked for.
The easiest first step is to search the FAA Airmen Registry using the instructor's first and last name before you start training.
